1. How to get there
You want to get to Frankfurt, Dom/Römer.
Check the RMV website for the up to date timetable.
Start: | Konstablerwache | Take U4, direction Bockenheimer Warte or U5, direction Hauptbahnhof |

Take a ride with a historic railway
The historic railway club Frankfurt offers special train rides on the tracks along the river within the city.
Start at “Eiserner Steg”, look for this sign:

4. Tips
Going one direction is enough
The historic railway does two loops. One to the East (described above) and one to the West. I recommend to go only one direction, spending the rest of the time outside the train taking pictures of the train.
Taking the East loop is much more exciting as you will pass the European Central Bank, the industrial harbor and the former railway switch cabin. This loop takes about 45 minutes.
